By creating an account, accessing, or using the Questra platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an educational institution or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that institution or organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
3. Eligibility and Authorized Use
Questra is designed for use by:
- Schools and educational organizations — Institutions that register to use the platform for educational purposes.
- Teachers and administrators — Educators and school staff who manage educational content and communicate with students and parents.
- Students — Individuals who access the platform as part of their educational activities, under the supervision of authorized educators or administrators.
- Other authorized users — Any other individuals granted access by a school, organization, or platform administrator.
The Service is intended for educational and institutional use. Users must be authorized by their school or organization to access and use the platform.
4. User Accounts
To use certain features of Questra, you must create or be granted an account. You agree to the following responsibilities:
- Account credentials — You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- Accurate information — You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
- Account security — You must notify Questra immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
- Authorized use — You agree to use your account only for authorized purposes and in accordance with these Terms and any applicable policies provided by your school or organization.
One account per user. You must not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access the Service using your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Questra only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, or abuse any other user of the Service.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service.
- Use the Service to transmit any malware, viruses, worms, trojan horses, or other malicious or harmful code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of the Service or any related infrastructure.
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service, including features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of any content.

Schools and educational organizations that use Questra are responsible for ensuring that their users' content complies with applicable laws, policies, and regulations, including those related to student data privacy.
By submitting User Content to Questra, you grant Questra a limited license to process, store, and transmit that content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you and your authorized users.
7. Google Integrations
Questra may provide optional integrations with Google services, including Google Sign-In for authentication and the Gmail API for sending emails.
These integrations are established through Google's OAuth authorization process. When you choose to connect a Google service, you authorize Questra to access the specific information and capabilities you approve through Google's consent screen.
You can disconnect or revoke access to any Google integration at any time through your Questra profile settings or through your Google Account settings.
Questra's use of Google account data is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy. Questra only requests access to Google data that is necessary to provide the features you have enabled.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, interface, design, branding, logos, text, graphics, and other materials (excluding User Content), is owned by Questra and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without prior written consent.
The Questra name, logo, and related branding elements are trademarks of Questra. You may not use these trademarks without prior written permission.
This license does not grant you any rights to use Questra's trademarks, logos, or branding in a manner that implies endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without authorization.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with, contain links to, or be accessible through third-party platforms and services. These third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies, and practices.
Questra is not responsible for the availability, content, practices, or policies of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and is subject to the applicable terms of those services.
10. Service Availability
Questra strives to provide reliable and continuous access to the Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Questra reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice when practicable.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if:
- You violate or are suspected of violating these Terms or any applicable policy.
- Your use of the Service poses a security risk to other users or the platform.

- Your school or organization requests termination of your account.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Questra does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defects in the Service will be corrected. Questra does not make any warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content, information, or materials available through the Service.
Questra is not responsible for any content, communications, or interactions between users of the Service. Users are solely responsible for their interactions and communications with other users.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Questra, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
- Any content obtained from the Service.
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
In no event shall Questra's aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid to Questra, if any, during the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.
